We've met some wonderful friends through this Animal Adventure!  Here are some links to their websites.  We'll add more as needed!

AlpacaNation -- A great website to learn about alpaca farms across the country.

Alpacas of Minnesota -- Alpaca breeders' group in Minnesota.

AOBA -- Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association, the national alpaca breeders group.

ARI -- The Alpaca Registry, Inc.  This is the official registry of all alpacas.

Explore Alpacas -- The Alpacas of Minnesota FARM TOUR website.  This will be updated throughout the year as more alpaca farms sign up.  It will contain information about and directions to all the participating farms.  Keep checking it out!

Glacial Ridge Alpacas -- Our friends in Hawick, MN.  They also raise Icelandic sheep, French Angora rabbits, goats, and all kinds of other animals.  Sandy's yarn website is listed below too (Not Just Yarns).

MN Grown -- This is the Minnesota Grown website, which lists hundreds of MN farms that sell all kinds of products, from alpaca products to fruits and vegetables, to honey, to buffalo meat and pheasants, and everything in between.  We're listed in there too!  They also distribute over 160,000 hardcopies each year of their farm listings to farmers' markets, libraries, etc.  We will be distributing hardcopies at our farm all year.  Just ask for your copy!

The Pot Spot -- Cool place to have fun in Avon, MN, right off I-94 (northwest of St. Cloud).  You can create your own ceramic-ware or stamped crafts!  They offer classes, you can hold events there (parties, meetings, and such), or just go in and be creative.  Dana and Kaye are really nice, patient, and helpful, even if you aren't very creative.  Their Saturday morning kids' time was a lot of fun for Alex--they read stories and then got to create a ceramic character from the story.  Go check them out, it's a lot of fun!

Not Just Yarns -- Sandy designs combo yarns (different textures); very unique and beautiful stuff!  If you want something special, get it from Sandy!
