There's nothing cuter than a baby! We're dedicating this page to our farm babies and any new arrivals.
Hoss and Little Joe, our two little mini-donks, were adopted and went to their new homes at the end of April. We hear they are doing well and being very spoiled!
Windsor, our new farm dog, replaced Micki, our Border Collie who went back to her former family (they moved out to the country and now Micki has lots of room to run!). We got Windsor from the Humane Society. Barbara saw his profile online and fell in love with him right away! He is big and beautiful, with a very gentle personality. He'll try to get his 90 pounds into your lap if you aren't careful. He doesn't bark, and if you can believe it, he's a very picky eater. He LOVES Floppy, our rabbit, and all the other animals on the farm.
Goats--we've acquired a bunch of new goats, and yes, we need pictures!
Birds--we've also recently acquired geese, ducks, and chicks. Below is a picture of Ozzy and Harriet (two of our geese) and our ducks in a pond. We had a LOT of snow and rain in the past 6 weeks, and last year, that wasn't a pond, it was a pasture.
Update on Max, one of our two Quarterhorses we use for driving--Max is no longer with us. He was old and on the retirement phase of his life when he went on to the pasture in the sky. His best friend John (our other Quarterhorse) is sad that his buddy is gone. Max was a good horse and we will all miss him greatly!
