In March 2006 we added three new boys to our menagerie--Flasher, Junior San, and Buckwheat.  They're our llamas!

We got our boys from Bill and Fran Fynbo near Albert Lea, MN.  We can tell they raised 'em right, because these three guys are as sweet and affectionate as any animal could possibly be.  When you get near the fence, they don't run away from you, they run TO you!  They like to sniff your face and kind of rub cheeks with you.  It's really cute!

Llamas are known for their ability to guard and protect.  So far, they're doing an excellent job, and they fit in well with the rest of our animals!  Check out the photos below!

Buckwheat, what a ham!
